Centre Scraps Free Movement Between India, Myanmar To Ensure Peace in Northeast

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said the Centre has scrapped the Free Movement Regime (FMR) between India and Myanmar to ensure the country’s internal security and to maintain the demographic structure of the Northeastern states bordering Myanmar.
