NEW DELHI: The admit card for Central Eligibility Test (CTET) has been released on Wednesday at ctet.nic.in.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the(CTET) on January 31.
The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on July 15 but was deferred due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The exam when conducted will be held across 135 cities following the COVID-19 guidelines, the exam authorities claim. The number of exam centres has been increased, to ensure the least commute for students, centres have been set up in new cities including Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai/ Durg, Bilaspur, Deoria, Gonda, Manipuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Udham Singh Nagar.
The TET exam is conducted in two parts — part I and part II. Those who clear part-I exam will be eligible to teach classes 1 to 5 and those who pass part II exam will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8. The exam contains 150 questions to be solved in two-and-a-half hours. Each question will be for one mark and there will be no negative marking.
For both the papers, child development and pedagogy, language I and II will be must with 30 marks each. In paper I, the remaining parts will be mathematics and environmental science and for paper II the 60 marks will be for subject-specific paper.
