Greater Guwahati Baby League Second Match Day

Guwahati: Second Match Day of Greater Guwahati Baby League (GGBL) season 2, Assam’s first ever golden baby football league recognized by All India Football Federation (AIFF), is played today with more than 500 kids participated across four age categories at Beltola High School field on December 1.

The league which is being organized by Guwahati City FC (GCFC) and Sportscraft Management in association with WAMUL (Purabi Dairy) and supported by Assam Football Association, Decathlon Guwahati and Gupshup 94.3 FM saw a strong GTC emerged in U6 category, defeating GCFC Unicorns 6-0 and Dispur Lions 11-0. In U8 category, GCFC Unicorns continue their winning streak as they defeated Chandmari SC 2-0 and Narengi Dolphins 1-0.

In U10 category, Pegasus Khanapara defeated Montfort Eagles 4-1 and GYSFCC Dragons defeated Manomay Deers 3-0. In Group B of U12 category, Manomay deers kept their momentum as they got better of Chandmari Turtles 5-2 and Little Flower School 6-0.

In Group A, GYSFCC Dragons beat Montfort 2-1 and International Warriors 1-0 to emerge as favorites, told a statement released by GCFC.
