Guwahati Cine Club is preparing to hold the International Guwahati Film Festival.
from 7th December to 14th December inside the District library premises.

A total of 28 films will be featured in the 11th IGFF including Japanese, German, Korean,Chinese ,Bangladeshi, Afghani and Norwegian films.

As a part of the festival, like every year this year also the management has organised a 15 minutes long short film competition.

The last date of the online application for this short film competition is 30th November 2018.

All the interested candidates can do the needful by clicking on the below given link
bit.do/gffshort and pay Rs.500 as the entry fee.

Offline forms can be submitted for the same on 27th and 28th from 4p.m to 7p.m in the Panbazar Cine Club office

Non members of Guwahati Cine Club will have to apply delegate cards to be a part of the festival upon paying Rs.300 and Students can collect the delegate card by paying Rs.200 respectively.

The Cine Club’s Annual Cine Journal “Chitrachinta” will be published apart from featuring a few selected films from the short film competition in the festival. “Award will be given away to the winner of the short film competition” , said the vice president of Guwahati Cine Club Mrigen Das through a press release.
