IAF hosts Industry Outreach Event to strengthen defence capabilities and promote indigenous innovation

The Indian Air Force (IAF) organized an “Industry Outreach Event” on 15 January 2025, aiming to strengthening India’s defence capabilities and promote indigenous innovations. The event was conducted in two phases. The first phase, held online on 13 January 2025, saw the participation of 120 representatives from variousnsectors, including industry, academia, and government. The second phase took place at Air Force Station Guwahati on 15 January 2025, bringing together representatives from defence industries, innovators, and start-ups to engage directly with the IAF.

The event offered participants a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the IAF’s operational requirement which provided them with valuable insights into areas where they could contribute innovative solutions. The event featured a display of IAF equipment and included interactions with operators, allowing participants to better understand the Air Force’s needs.
