Two minor girls were found hanging in a tree at Abhaykuthi village in the Kokrajhar district of Assam. The incident has shocked the people entirely.
According to the sources, two girls were reportedly sisters who were missing from home after their family went farming.
The two girls were found hanging in a tree on Friday by the locals around a kilometer away from the village.
The minors were reportedly raped and murdered.
Soon after the incident reported, police officials immediately rushed on the spot and started their investigation on the tragic incident.
Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the victim’s family to console and share their pain.
CM Sarma immediately instructed Assam Police to continue their investigation and find the depth of cause of the death.
The Government of Assam to take strict action against the culprit.
Along with the Assam CM, BTC Chief Promod Boro and Kokrajhar East MLA Lawrence Islary were also present and met the victim’s family.
