Kripasindhu Bordoloi’s “Rohan” wins National Film Making Competition

Assam film maker Kripasindhu Bordoloi’s film “Rohan” won the National Film Making Competition.

The UGC has taken several proactive
steps including effective launch of Media Campaign for preventing ragging.

As a step further, UGC organised the National University Fllm Making competition to spread the awareness on ragging amongst students.


160+ films from across India were registered out of which “Rohan” a film by Kripasindhu Bordoloi, casting Rohan Dutta, Pranjal Dutta Kuri, Dolomoni Das and team clinched the first prize.

The team was awarded by UGC and MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT.

An amount of Rs.5 lacs, Rs.3 lacs, and Rs.2 lacs respectively for the lst, 2nd
and 3rd best film was awarded. The selected films will also be uploaded on UGC website while giving credit to the film makers.
