Man Caught with Brown Sugar in Panjabari

GUWAHATI, July 11: Satgaon Police arrested a man, identified as Subham Sonar, from Panjabari during an anti-drug drive on July 11.

Police recovered 7.7 grams of suspected brown sugar packed in vials from his possession.

A case has been registered, and police are now investigating where the drugs came from and whether he is linked to a larger drug trafficking network.

The arrest is part of Guwahati Police’s ongoing crackdown on drug-related offences in the city.
