Man receives double death penalty for raping and killing his step daughter
The session court of Jawra town,Madhya Pradesh declared double death sentence to a man for raping and killing his step daughter.
According to sources, the incident had taken place in April 2018 following which the 42 year man was condemned with Rs.15000 fine and five year rigouous jail term apart from double death sentences under the sections 376 (A-B) and 302 of the Indian Penal Code .
It will be important to mention that last year the assembly of Madhya Pradesh passed a bill regarding death penalty as the maximum punishment for criminals,who rape minors upto the age of 12 years respectively. A Guwahati Times report !
