The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP)’s Legislature Party has unanimously elected Neiphiu Rio as its leader, in its meeting at Kohima today. The members endorsed its leader and Chief Minister Mr. Rio to take the prerogative of forming the new government.
The NDPP Legislature Party also resolved to work with a vision for peace and development and take Nagaland towards a State of Excellence. It further conveyed heartfelt gratitude to all the electorates of Nagaland for reposing their faith and confidence in the NDPP and the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio once again.
