Zubeen Garg Urges All To Use Assam Woven Gamosa

Performing at a Bihu function in Mirza on Saturday, music icon Zubeen Garg said that on his death his fans will bid him adieu and mourn his death by singing his popular song Mayabini‘.

“On my death, everyone will sing my song Mayabini,” said Garg.

He further said that he will leave his earnings for his fans.

“Whatever I have earned, whatever I have done, I will leave it all to you”, Zubeen Garg said.

Lashing out on the factory-made gamosa‘, the singing icon threw it away and said, “Why should I accept a gamosa made in a factory? Why are we not using gamosas women by our weavers in our traditional looms?”

He urged everyone to boycott the factory-made gamosas and asked all to buy only the traditionally woven gamosas.

Later, he carried on singing mainly wearing just a vest and enthraling the audience with his popular numbers.
