Guwahati adds new UDAN connectivity to Tezu and Imphal

As a part of implementing National Civil Aviation Policy in order to develop regional connectivity and Government’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagarik) scheme, a new connectivity to Tezu and Imphal has been launched on Monday at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati. The connectivity, six days a week, will be operationalised by Flybig airline. This is the latest addition of air connectivity in the region under the State Government sponsored UDAN scheme.

The passengers from Guwahati to Tezu and Imphal expressed satisfaction over the enhancement of flights connecting to the hill station. Flybig is deploying ATR aircraft with single class configuration offering 70 seats in Economy Class. It will be operated on all six days of the week except Monday. The inward sector Flight S9201 departs Gau at 8.15 hours in the morning to Tezu and departs Tezu at 10.00 hours to Imphal and land at 11.15 hours in Imphal. On the other hand, S9202 departs Imphal at 12.00 hours to Tezu and departs Tezu at 13.40 hours and lands at 15.10 in Guwahati. However, Flybig decided to operate the route effective from September 26 onwards.
