69th National School Games Conclude: Assam Secures Second Runners-Up Title in Under-14 Girls Category
Assam once again brought pride to the state at the 69th National School Games held in New Delhi. In the Under-14 girls’ category, Assam’s swimmers delivered an outstanding performance, winning multiple medals.
Kasturi Gogoi showcased exceptional talent by winning three gold medals in breaststroke events:
100m Breaststroke – 1:19.39 seconds
200m Breaststroke – 2:48.93 seconds
50m Breaststroke – 36.70 seconds
Meanwhile, Adrija Rani Chetia also impressed with a brilliant performance, clinching the gold medal in the 200m Butterfly event with a timing of 2:30.75 seconds.
As a result of the team’s combined efforts, Assam secured the ‘Second Runners-Up’ trophy in the Under-14 category.
Congratulating the achievers, Assam Swimming Association Secretary Bhaskar Ranjan Das and Publicity Secretary Mukuteswar Goswami extended warm greetings to the entire team, including coaches-managers Momi Barman, Rinki Bhuyan, and Harekrishna Gogoi, for this proud accomplishment.
