Since when have you been modelling and How did you come into modelling?

Well, I was never exposed to the professional world of modelling until I auditioned for Miss India.

How do you feel about being selected among the top contestants of your state?

I am beyond grateful to be a part of this journey and to share the same space with so many talented and influential women who have so much to offer to the society and it will always be an honour for me to represent my state and my cultural, a culture that embraces people so beautifully!

If you get the chance to represent your state, what do you want to do for the people of your state?

Well, I remember saying in my introduction video of Miss India that I have always been a strong advocate for women’s health. Given the chance to represent my state or even my country one day if I am ever lucky enough I would love to give my voice to the young girls of our state because knowing about your body and the rights that you possess about your body should never be a taboo in any society regardless of your background. Our youth deserves a proper education regarding topics like safe sex, menstrual hygiene, etc

When asked what she thinks about, ‘Modelling as a career’, Khound replied, “Well no matter what career per suits I am going to take on in my life that one thing I can never let go of is modelling. From a very young age, I have dreamt about walking the ramp so modelling has a giant spot on my heart which is indeed irreplaceable.”

How does your family support you in your modelling career?

I am brought up in a family who are highly concerned about me getting a proper degree. So, me taking up this path have always been questioned a little, but they never stopped me from doing what I love and were always proud of my little achievements in this field.
