Dr. Rita Chowdhury has resigned from the post of Director of National Book Trust (NBT). Incident occurred after she posted ‘Moi Axomiya’ (I am Assamese) on her Facebook page on January 9 just after public resentment grew against Citizenship Amendment bill in Assam.
