Pension Seva Kendra Inaugurated In Kokrajhar

Along with other parts of the state, Pension Sewa Kendras was inaugurated in Kokrajhar today.

Assam Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Irrigation and Guardian Minister of Kokrajhar district Ashok Singhal in the presence of BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro inaugurated the Pension Seva Kendra of Kokrajhar district at the office of the Director of Education department, Kokrajhar.

Pension Seva Kendras in the district offices of the Education Department were set up to serve the cases of government department employees. A total of 27 Pension Sewa Kendras have been set up across the State of Assam through AMTRON.

MLA Lawrence Islary, BTR executive Arup Kumar Dey, Gautam Das, BTC principal secretary Anurag Goel, leading citizens, and pensioners were among those present at the event.

Minister Ashok Singhal in his speech said with the functioning of Pension Seva Kendra no retired employees will now face harassment for their pension-related work. He stated that in the last one year the government has taken several steps for social harmony, feel good factors so that the public are not harassed. He also lauded the BTR govt led by BTR CEM for taking up several developmental steps for the upliftment of the Bodoland region and the welfare of the people.

BTR CEM Pramod Boro lauded the chief minister for the step taken for the setting up of Pension Seva Kendras. He expressed his hope that the problem of the pensioners will be solved from now onwards. He also urged the front office assistants to be sensitive and kind towards the pensioners.
