Woman pushed out of city bus dies

Guwahati- In an incident  a woman – identified as Rahima Begum of Ghagrapara – died a tragic death when she was allegedly pushed out of the bus by the conductor.

Eyewitness accounts said that the woman boarded the bus at Adabari along with her minor son, who started vomiting immediately after getting into the vehicle. At this, the conductor and the driver rudely asked her to clean the bus, which she refused. The conductor pushed her out of the door, following which she fell down badly on the road and fainted. Police arrived thereafter and rushed her to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The incident took place around 12.30 in the afternoon. Police seized the vehicle but the driver-handyman duo is absconding.
