CID Special Branch Operation party this evening seized 50 (fifty) soap cases of heroin, weighing 607 grams, from the illegal possession of Lalngaihzuali (38), w/o Tuanthanga of Khawbung, Champhai District at Falkland Vengthar, Aizawl.
The seized contraband is valued Rs.15 lakhs at the local smuggling rate and Rs.303.5 lakhs at international market. The accused and seized items are being handed over to Special Narcotics PS for further necessary legal action.
