How do you feel about being selected among the top contestants of your state?
As reaching this stage is the dream of many girls, it was also my dream to be a part of VLCC Femina Miss India, I almost gave up hope of reaching the stage because of my height (5.4″) and I am lucky that FMI’s minimum height requirement this year is 5.3″. After a long road of struggle, I have finally been selected among the top 10 contestants from Assam. I don’t know what my journey will be like. But I want to thank Femina Miss India for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. With the love and blessings of Mom, Dad, and the people of Assam, I am going to start my journey to Mumbai for Femina Miss India 2022.

If you get the chance to represent your state, what do you want to do for the people of your state?
I would like to be an inspiration to the people of Assam and I will try my best to help the girls who are interested in modeling. They may be from Urban or Rural areas, but I will do everything possible from my end to make their dream come true.

What do you think about ‘Modelling as a career?
I believe it boosts our confidence and it can be pursued as main career as it gives many scopes across the world. So it’s good to take it as a career rather than a hobby.

How does your family support you in your modeling career?
Since I am from a rural area, many people around me make negative comments for being into modeling. Also, being from a middle-class family, it is difficult for us to bear the cost of the shows. But my mom, dad, and my brother never judge me for any result, they have always supported me and inspired me to move ahead in this field.

Future Plans:
My future plan is to take both my education as well as modeling career to a new level and I want to be on bigger platforms.

Who is your role model?
My mom, as from my childhood, I have seen my mom working hard, so if we want to achieve something we should never give up till the end.

Favorite Actor, Actress:
Deepika Padukone, Ranbir kapoor and Susmita Sen.
